Business Development Manager

The qualified candidate will understand the dynamics and management of a large e-commerce site and will be charged with the following responsibilities:

– To identify, develop and deliver new revenue streams.
– Balance company revenue & profit, customer needs and brand credibility
Capture and define innovative new product ideas for incremental revenue streams.
-Work with external parties to help develop new business development opportunities including vendor selection.
– Conducting market and competitive analysis to find and determine the best business opportunities for the company.
– Evaluate new revenue stream ideas / opportunities and ultimately determine which ideas to pursue and invest in
– Competitor and market analysis
– Ensure success in bringing propositions to market through strong collaboration across company divisions and external partners.
– Have a strong understanding of the key strategic drivers per title to ensure clear product idea evaluation
– See market trends early and capitalize upon them for revenue / profit gain.
– Creating strategic technology and marketing solutions based on business goals
– Crafting detailed business/technical specifications for product line enhancements, new products or specific marketing programs
– Providing ongoing user experience and conversion-enhancement consulting for the website

Key Skills

– Bachelor Degree/Master in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
– Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
– Strong business development skills
– Business development experience for a premier consumer facing internet brand with a record of high productivity and success.
– Excellent sales, quantitative and analytical skills
– Ability to effectively negotiate, communicate and close business deals
– Ability to identify, negotiate and work with 3rd party suppliers
– Budget ownership and management experience
– Ability to manage the end to end business development process
– Ability to gain buy-in for innovative revenue stream generation from across the business.
– Willingness to travel (both in Turkey and abroad)
