Job Title: Sr. UI Developer & UX Designer
Digitouch is searching for a Front End UI Developer for current and future in-house projects. Please keep in mind that this position is a TRUE Front End developer role; we are NOT looking for a Middle-Tier/Back-End Developer with front end experience. I ask that you keep this in mind when considering this position, as your front end development skills should be your “bread and butter” and should be very visible in your resume.
Experience Required :
● 3+ years of real life web application development
● Solid experience designing and building interactive web applications.
● Passion crafting user interfaces and evangelizing the benefits of standards based coding
● The ability to take complex software problems and turn them into simple, functional interfaces
● Understand the underlying principles for optimum coding practices
Skills Required :
● HTML/XHTML (transitional and strict doctypes) (Knowledge about HTML5 is a plus)
● CSS (2.1 and 3)
● Common Javascript frameworks like jQuery, Prototype, etc…
● To be a team player is essential.
● Solid experience about common browser problems with CSS and HTML and ability to solve them.
